The Federal Government has given all WAEC, NECO and final year students a glimpse of hope as schools across the nation may reopen soon following the new update given by the government.
It's well known that schools had been officially ordered closed by the federal government in a bid to contain the spread of covid-19 in Nigeria which affected all internal and external examinations like WAEC And NECO.
The truth is that all will definitely change very soon, as the minister of state for education by name Chukuemeka Nwajiuba on his daily briefing on Monday stated that schools may reopen in the country after the ban on interstate movement has been lifted although the reopening date has not been fixed yet.
Awajiuba said that he had a meeting with the representatives of WAEC and realised that parents are worried to know what level to be taken concerning West African Senior Secondary School Examinations (WASSCE), as he made them to understand that the federal government is planning to resume schools but it won't be when the lives of students will be in danger.
looking at this, WAEC, NECO And Final Year students should take note of the following:
For WAEC candidates the board said that they are ready for the examination once the federal government reopens schools, I was revealed by the Head of Public affairs unit of WAEC Nigeria, Mr Demianus Ojijeogu.
For NECO candidates They should wait for official announcement by the federal government concerning when schools will resume.
For Final Year students, they will definitely write their exams once schools are declared open.
Opinion:
What do you think that should be done to Candidates that have not written their exams?
