Transfer Update: Done Deals for Arsenal, Man Utd and the Latest from Chelsea, Barca, Juve, Others
Here are some recently done deals in Europe and the latest transfer gists from the camp of Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Juventus, Liverpool, and other clubs.
Liverpool
Liverpool are considering a move for Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara, who is open to a new challenge.
His current deal at Bayern Munich ends in 2021 and the Bavarian giants will expect a fee of around €50 million for him.
The Reds are also interested in Sporting Lisbon youngster Nuno Mendes.
The 18-year-old full-back recently signed a five-year deal that reportedly has a €45m release clause.
German club Borussia M'gladbach are interested in taking Marko Grujic on a season-long loan with a mandatory option to buy for €18m after the 2020-2021 campaign.
Liverpool are also keen on Sao Paulo midfielder Igor Gomes, who has been dubbed 'The new Kaka'.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested.
Manchester United
Man United target Eduardo Camavinga won't be leaving Rennes this summer as he has agreed to stay with the club for at least one more season.
The 17-year-old midfielder has been brilliant in Ligue 1 this season, having played over 30 games before the campaign was brought to an abrupt end.
Highly-rated centre-back Benoit Badiashile has been linked to Manchester United.
The 19-year-old has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Monaco this season.
Chelsea
Chelsea have agreed temporary contracts with Willian and Pedro Rodriguez to play on until the end of the season.
Both players are still expected to depart Stamford Bridge this summer, with Tottenham and Barcelona believed to be interested in Willian, while Pedro is close to a move to Roma.
Arsenal
Joe Hart, Ben Forster, Claudio Bravo are three of the goalkeepers Arsenal are currently considering to replace the injured Bernd Leno.
The Gunners have also enquired about Barcelona goalkeeper Neto.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are considering offloading midfielder Matteo Guendouzi due to his bad behaviour in recent months.
The Frenchman currently earns less than £40,000 per week at the Emirates and was recently involved in a confrontation with Brighton player Neal Maupay.
Barcelona and Juventus
Italian champions Juventus have reportedly agreed a £72.5m fee with Barcelona to sign Arthur.
Barcelona are also in advanced talks to sign Miralem Pjanic from Juventus, and the two clubs are not far away in agreeing a fee.
Juve value Pjanic at €70m whilst Barca are trying to agree a deal below €60m.
Meanwhile, Barca are looking at Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as a cheaper alternative if they are unable to sign Inter’s Lautaro Martinez.
The Catalan giants have also lowered their asking price for Philippe Coutinho as they look to offload the Brazilian midfielder.
Barca's current asking price for Coutinho is now believed to be €70m.
Others
Everton have reportedly pulled out on the deal for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes.
Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik will be sold this summer if he does not agree a new contract, according to Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli.
Leicester City have agreed personal terms for Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho, however, the two clubs are yet to reach a final agreement.
PSG are set to sign Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez, who has struggled to establish himself in Germany as a regular starter.
Done Deals
Former Roma attacker Jeremy Menez has returned to Italy after agreeing a three-year contract with newly-promoted Serie B side Reggina.
Italian side SPAL have completed the signings of Lucas Castro and Kevin Bonifazi for €12m and €3m respectively.
Dutch international Eljero Elia has confirmed his departure from Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir FK.
Morgan Schneiderlin has completed his move from Everton to Ligue 1 club, Nice.
Manager Jonathan Woodgate has left Middlesbrough and they've appointed Neil Warnock as his replacement.
Fans' favourite Scott McTominay has signed a new contract at Manchester United.
The midfielder, who has been with United from the age of 5 has the option of an extra year when the deal expires in 2025.
Brazilian defender David Luiz has signed a one-year extension at Arsenal.
Cedric Soares and Pablo Mari have also signed a four-year deal to remain at the Emirates, while Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos has also extended his loan deal from Real Madrid until the end of the season.
Finally, Nigeria striker Cyriel Dessers has signed a four-year deal worth about €4m with four-time Belgian champions KRC Genk.
Dessers becomes Genk's second signing of the summer after Colombian right-back Daniel Munoz.
